Self Evaluating My New Years Resolutions

As it's well gone the middle of the year, I thought now would be a great time to evaluate how far I've come with my New Years resolutions. In January I decided that I wasn't going set resolutions that would make me feel bad about myself, but instead nice little positive changes. So let's see how I'm doing

1. To eat healthier and regularly
Whilst I do still love junk food I think I've become better overall at eating more regularly, I push myself to eat 2 meals a day and enjoy food a lot more. We do still love a good Dominos but we also cook a lot more for ourselves, especially curries. My signature dish is Jack Monroe's Mixed Bean Goulash It feels a lot more satisfying enjoying something that you made from scratch.

2. Believe in myself more.
In all honesty I still struggle with this, but since attending CBT I can challenge my negative thoughts and not have the world crash down every time something bad happens. I still have hang ups about myself but I'm getting there and I'm a lot happier with where I am now.

3. Read more
Our reading challenge failed spectacularly (I think we've both crossed 2 things off the list!). I am reading a lot more than I was, just I tend to stick to similar things. And a major bonus is that I have a great love for biographies by amazingly strong women now.

  1. I didn't make any new year resolutions, but I have been trying to stick to the same things as you this year! I have finally started improving my self confidence by working out, and eating healthier. I also try to believe in myself more, as my anxiety often drags me down. I am glad to hear that you're sticking to your resolutions well!
